Discover the Galo-Roman Museum
The town of Aosta (38), formerly known as Angustum, is famous for its Aosta ham factory, but also for its Gallo-Roman past. Discover an ancestral era.
Excavations have been taking place in Aosta since the 16thᵉ century, and the Galo-Roman Museum reveals the finds from our past with an exhibition covering an area of 650 m². Labelled a “Musée de France”, you’ll find more than 600 objects from the Gallo-Roman era on a fun and educational trail for young and old alike.
Grottes de la Balme, between mystery and magic
A little paradise for younger campers. This shallow pool provides a safe space for children to splash around and have fun under the watchful eye of their parents. Laughter, water games and childhood memories are created here, making the paddling pool the perfect place for sunny days of family relaxation.
Museum: Louis Mandrin’s lair

Through a journey dotted with projections and sound effects, I’ll help you discover taverns, woods and caches familiar to me. Perhaps we’ll even have the chance to do business together… Keep a low profile, soldiers from Ferme Générale are on the prowl! In Saint-Génix-Sur-Guiers, in the heart of the Avant-Pays Savoyard, my lair is anchored in Savoyard lands, my last place of freedom!”
Just 5 minutes from the Camping, you and your children can follow in the footsteps of Louis Mandrin. Quizzes, fun games and indoor activities let you learn without a traditional visit to a museum or the like. Many of our guests recommend this activity, and when it rains, we recommend it even more 😉
