Travelling the Via Rhôna cycle path is a breathtaking journey! It winds its way along the Rhone, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Alpine mountains and Rhone Valley vineyards. Our Camping is located close to the famous cycle route between Geneva and Lyon, an ideal stop-off point for adventurers on two wheels. Don’t hesitate to give your calves a rest at our “Accueil vélo” campsite, where you can take advantage of our spacious, shaded Pitch rentals, modern facilities and special rates for cyclists.

Bike Rentals at the Camping de l’île de la Comtesse is the perfect opportunity to discover our beautiful region. Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or a novice, this bike rental offers routes for all levels. You can enjoy sailing along the banks, or take a leisurely family stroll from the Camping to the Cascade de Glandieu. Campers can easily rent adult bikes, children’s bikes and children’s trailers directly from reception, with packages ranging from 2 hrs to a full day (only during reception opening hours).

The “Accueil Vélo” label is a guarantee of quality for cyclists looking for a pleasant travel experience. We are proud to announce that Camping de l’Ile de la Comtesse has been awarded the “Accueil Vélo” label since 2024. We have everything in place to welcome two-wheeled travelers in the best possible conditions, and guarantee a warm welcome and top-quality service. Don’t be afraid to plan ahead for your adventure on the famous Via Rhôna cycle path: special rates for cyclists on camping pitches, grocery store open 7 days a week, restaurants and snack bars, entertainment in July and August.
