Lush greenery…

Between lakes and mountains, as the seasons go by, the Val Guiers flourishes in a vast and ever

changing setting, crossed by a multitude of paths: GR footpaths, horse trails, various regional loops and a link
to Geneva-Le Puy in the
direction of St Jacques de Compostelle.
Here, everybody gets
along, be they hikers, mountain bikers, riders of carriages, each at their own pace.
In the awe-inspiring surroundings of the "Site des Fils", you will enjoy an exceptional panorama overlooking the Rhone valley.

The Rhone River to the north and the Guiers River to the East border the valley. The Guiers, whose source is in Chartreuse, also marks the inter-department borders. Try a bit of fishing in the Guiers, a fisherman's paradise that offers an exceptional course in a preserved environment.

In the vicinity, Lake Aiguebelette (which hosted the World Rowing Championships in 1997), Lake Romagnieu, Lake Paladru and Lake Bourget are havens for water sports lovers.
